The F/V Clipper Endeavor was originally constructed in 1981 by Easter Marine Ship Building in Panama City, Florida. The vessel was acquired by BWS legacy company Clipper Seafoods and converted to a longliner in1989, making it the second Clipper Seafoods vessel.
The Clipper Endeavor is a forward house vessel with a standard crew of 16 and a freezer hold capacity of 7,000 cases, equivalent to 137 metric tons of finished product. The Endeavor is equipped for both longline cod fishing and “slinky” pot deep water operations targeting Sablefish and Turbot.
Captain Scott “Deuce” Harnden worked with BWS legacy company Clipper Seafoods starting in 1989, first as a chief engineer and later as captain.
Deuce retained his captain position when Clipper Seafoods merged with Blue North Fisheries in 2019 to form Bristol Wave Seafoods.
